I head up Human Capital for the Outside Africa region of Standard Bank (Africa's largest bank). With 20 years of HR experience in the financial services industry, I have worked with Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch before Standard Bank. During my career I held various roles across the HR function, including HR Business Partner, Country HR Head and EMEA HR COO roles. I worked with 20+ countries and lived in Moscow, Budapest, Milan and London where I am currently based. Qualifications: BA in Linguistics and Cross Cultural Communication from Moscow State Linguistics University; Certificate in Coaching Practice from I-coach Academy.
I came to the coaching profession after years of HR experience in the financial services industry, having worked in Moscow, London and Milan; I currently work with Standard Bank. This experience helped me to gain an insight into how organisations works, the challenges managers and leaders are facing at different stages in their careers and in different contexts.
My Purpose in Coaching
Coaching for Transition and Change: personal and professional progression, career transition.
Coaching is a series of reflective conversations focusing on helping the client to increase self-awareness and expand ability to exercise choice and self responsibility. This in turn helps them to achieve personally significant and relevant goals.
My approach is client-centred and non-directive; enabling my clients to explore relevant and significant issues, identify goals and suitable actions to meet those goals.
If and when appropriate, I use a number of assessment and development tools.
Qualifications and Training
I have a Certificate in Coaching Practice from i-coach academy accredited by Middlesex University.
I am a graduate of Moscow State Linguistics University.
I have also completed foundation training with British School of Counselling and Psychotherapy, RegentŐs College.
